How to Decorate Your Wedding Venue with Candles
Candles are one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to decorate your wedding venue. If you are going with a hotel venue, they will more than likely provide candle centrepieces for your tables, but there are lots of other ways you can decorate the venue with candles and make it look really magical. Today we share our top tips for decorating your wedding venue with candles.
Civil Ceremony Decor
If you are have a civil or humanist ceremony, you can really spruce up your wedding venue with candles. You may have the opportunity for a wider aisle between seats, and lining the aisle with candles will look incredible. These could be tall pillar candles of varying heights, or protected in elegant lanterns or hurricane vases.

Centerpieces with Candles
Using candles for your table centerpiece is a beautiful idea for decorating your wedding venue with candles. There are lots of ways you can incorporate them, such as classic pillar candles on a mirror plate, a bowl of floating candles and petals and tall candelabras. You could also repurpose old wine bottles and use them as candle holders and make them dual-purpose by placing the table number on the bottle too!

Hanging Candles
If your wedding reception is taking place outside or in a more rustic style venue, suspend candles inside glass spheres from the ceiling for a really quirky look. You could also create candle chandeliers to tie in with your wedding theme – for a rustic or natural theme, you could make a chandelier from deer antlers or branches; for a vintage theme check out antiques stores or flea markets for some old chandeliers that you could remove bulbs and wiring from (ask a handy person or electrician to help you with this).
